SAMH logoMental Health issues are common and range from feelings of anxiety to full blown depression. SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) recgonises that complementary therapies can play a supportive role in helping people experiencing mental health issues.

1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year, Mixed anxiety & depression is the most common mental disorder in Britain (The Mental Health Foundation)

What Therapy Should you Choose?

We manage a register of therapists so we know there are a lot of therapies to choose from. Every therapist meets clients experiencing stress and other mental health issues.

SAMH recognises (through their clients who have used therapies), that certain treatments/activities seem to be very supportive including:

  • Reiki
  • Indian Head Massage
  • Yoga/Tai Chi
  • Reflexology
  • Meditation
