Stage 2 is our Diploma course in Indian Head Massage. This is for you if you wish to learn this complementary therapy massage course to practise as a professional therapist.

This level will teach you how to work professionally as an Indian Head Massage therapist - either adding this to your current therapies or to establish yourself as a professional therapist with this life-long skill.

What you will learn

• Review of the IHM routine, knowledge and experience to date (from level 1)
• Training - additional, professional, technical moves to provide deeper relief to muscular tension
• Practise of routine incorporating new techniques
• Therapist consultation - review and practise
• Guidelines - how to improve/set up your own therapy business

Following the training (and to complete Level 2) you will complete some assessments including case studies and a practical massage exam.

Accredited Indian Head Massage Course

Our courses are accredited by IPTI (Independant Professional Therapists International). The accreditation requires students to have a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology. You may have this qualification through previous experience or training - please check with us to confirm what we can accept. If you do not have this qualification, we can signpost you to an accredited home study course - recognised by IPTI and BABTAC. We have exclusively negotiated a 15% discount for our students off the normal rate off this home study course.

Indian Head Massage Course Pre-requisites

To attend this course you must first of all have taken our 2-day beginners course which teaches you the full basic routine. If you have a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology (either through your work or previous training) then simply send us a copy of this. If you do not have this qualification, we can signpost you to discounted courses (online/classroom based) in anatomy and physiology. If you are unsure if your qualifcation in A & P qualifies, then simply contact us by phone/email to have a chat and we will offer you free advice about the next best steps for you.

If you book both level 1 and 2 (deposits paid) courses - you can save £30 on the total cost of your Indian Head Massage training - (both courses and deposits must be booked at the same time to qualify for this discount. You can amend chosen course dates for both levels subject to giving notice - see terms and conditions for details)

Costs - The course costs £185 (deposit of £85 to confirm place) and includes your full training, course manual and follow up support by telephone or email. You will also discounted access to our regular IHM support sessions. Course discounts are available (see 'Costs and Dates') or subscribe to our e-mail newsletter for special offers.
